Question #1:
The research question that i am trying to answer is; how do dogs influence humans psychologically and how are dogs behaviorisms and temperament affecting this? I am basically trying to find links that help people and dogs. The psychology, the training, the handling behind having a dog around and in peoples' lives.
Question #2:
The reason that i chose this issue is because i am an avid dog lover. I own a dog myself and i believe that dogs have a huge impact on people. I wanted to better understand how dogs help people and how we can help then in return. I am using my own dog as an example in my paper to add a personal experience and touch that will emphasize my point even further.
Question #3:
The audience that i am writing to are not only dog owners but, scientists, psychologists, teachers, Stephanie :), dog show judges, trainers, breeders, and anyone with any interest in dogs.
Question #4:
As previously stated, i fit into the context with my own dog. I added this aspect in the middle of the paper to tie in many of my arguments. I use my dog as an example of my experiences in training, temperament, and what to do and what not to do. I am hoping to add this to better tie everything in and make my dog a way for readers to relate to my paper as well.
Question #5:
In questions 2 and 4 they overlap by my example of my dog and in some in questions 1 and 2 with my reasonings for writing the paper. It will further focus my topic by giving me a better pin-pointed topic to focus on.

People should have a much better understanding and relationship with their dogs and with dogs in general.
Reasons:
Dogs help with illness, psychological problems, health issues, and so much more.
Thesis:
People should have a better understanding of the influence that dogs can have medically and emotionally when handled correctly.
I think the three activities you choose to do will really help you on your paper. I can see by what you have written here that you really have a clear and strong understanding of what you want to do with your paper. I think the best part of reading this was the outline because it briefly sums up what you want to get across and what your paper is going to include.
ReplyDeleteYour topic of dogs at first seems very broad and seems like it could go anywhere but after reading this blog I can really understand where you are going with it. This entry is a really good introduction to what your paper is going to be about.
For my blog entry I did the activity on introduction and conclustion. The first part of my paper is usually the hardest for me. I always feel like I have so much information that I want to say that I usually can't find room in my intro, or I get confused as too what exactly to include in my intro. Good job on your blog. I can really see that your paper is going to go great.
I quite enjoy the topic you are researching. I have always liked how dogs linked with humans mentally but i never actually thought this in depth into the topic. I would love to read about your findings if this does somehow become available to do so.
